A sick prank where pig heads were dumped at two religious sites in Sydney’s west last week is being investigated by police.
One head was thrown over the front gate of an Islamic school in Cecil Park while another was planted on a building spike at the front of a nearby Catholic church.
Fairfield Superintendent Peter Lennon told the Herald police were treating the crimes as “random acts of stupidity and desecration” and described the offending as un-Australian.
CCTV footage from neighbouring businesses is being reviewed in an attempt to catch the culprits.
