There is of course a ready market for Muslims who are prepared to reinforce the prevailing Islamophobic narrative by portraying their co-religionists as extremists and potential terrorists. Qadri’s ignorant and inaccurate claim that “every Salafi and Deobandi is not a terrorist but I have no hesitation in saying that every one is a well-wisher of terrorists” is just the sort of thing the anti-Muslim media want to hear.
